For day camps, the fee includes study materials, providing the necessary resources for each student's daily activities and learning experiences.

Please be aware that transportation to and from the camp, flight tickets, visa fees, and personal travel insurance are not included in the camp fees and should be arranged separately by the participants.

Programme Levels

  • LAMDA Public Speaking Junior (Ages 7–10: Y3, Y4, Y5)
  • LAMDA Public Speaking Intermediate (Ages 10–13: Y6, Y7, Y8)
  • LAMDA Public Speaking Advanced (Ages 13–16: Y9, Y10, Y11, Y12)

Public Speaking – Junior (Ages 7–10)

The Public Speaking Junior class focuses on building verbal and non-verbal communication skills to help students become confident speakers who can connect effectively with an audience.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Develop confidence and improve posture.
  • Speak with audibility, clarity, and positive body language.
  • Use facial expressions to enhance communication.
  • Prepare and deliver speeches with clear structure and spontaneity.
  • Engage in meaningful discussions about their work.

Public Speaking – Intermediate (Ages 10–13)

The Intermediate level introduces students to advanced techniques in public speaking, including structured speech preparation, audience engagement, and critical thinking. Participants also gain experience using visual aids and conducting research to support their topics.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Deliver structured and spontaneous speeches confidently.
  • Use visual aids effectively to enhance presentations.
  • Demonstrate subject knowledge and preparation.
  • Engage in discussions about their work and ask thoughtful questions.
  • Tailor speeches to meet the requirements of an imagined audience.

Public Speaking – Advanced (Ages 13–16)

At the Advanced level, students refine their public speaking skills by mastering audience engagement, impromptu speaking, and different speech styles, such as persuasive, informative, political, and humorous.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Deliver structured, spontaneous, and impromptu speeches.
  • Use visual aids effectively and exhibit vocal and physical flexibility.
  • Demonstrate expertise in three speech styles (persuasive, informative, and humorous).
  • Engage fully with an audience and tailor messages to their needs.
  • Discuss public speaking techniques and showcase a comprehensive understanding of speech preparation and delivery.

End-of-Term LAMDA Exam

At the end of each term, students will have the opportunity to participate in a LAMDA examination. These assessments, conducted by certified examiners from the United Kingdom, align with the appropriate grades for each participant, providing a prestigious certification of their progress and achievements.
