The UK Premier League is widely recognised as the most competitive and influential football league in the world — a league where elite talent is identified, developed, and refined. This summer, the Premier League Scout & Development Programme offers ambitious students a rare opportunity to experience that pathway firsthand. Participants will train under methodologies used by Premier League academies, working directly with elite level coaches and official talent identification scouts.

Fees include

For day camps, the fee includes study materials, providing the necessary resources for each student's daily activities and learning experiences.

Please be aware that transportation to and from the camp, flight tickets, visa fees, and personal travel insurance are not included in the camp fees and should be arranged separately by the participants.

Programme Highlights

  • Premier League–Level Coaching & Assessment: Students train under the guidance of Premier League academy coaches and talent identification scouts. Sessions follow authentic academy training frameworks, focusing on technical excellence, tactical understanding, decisionmaking, and match intelligence.
  • Real Insight into the Scouting Process: Participants receive rare transparency into how Premier League academies evaluate emerging talent. The programme outlines genuine scouting criteria used by clubs such as Arsenal, Fulham, and Crystal Palace, with each student receiving individual feedback on strengths, development areas, and practical next steps.
  • Holistic Professional Development: In addition to onpitch training, students attend focused sessions covering essential aspects of professional football life, including:
    - Performance nutrition and diet
    - Daily routines, recovery, and injury prevention
    - Offpitch and individual training strategies
    - Professional mindset, discipline, and conduct
    This ensures students understand not only how professionals train, but how they live, prepare, and perform consistently.
  • Competitive Match Experience: The programme includes a showcase friendly match against a local Hong Kong football academy, allowing participants to apply their training in a competitive environment while being observed and assessed.

Instructors

Jeremy Etutu (Arsenal FC Pre-Academy Coach)

UEFA and futsal-qualified coach with grassroots foundations at SC Vista.

Specialises in building confidence and expressive play in young players aged 5-8 (Pre-Academy) and identifying talent for the 12-15 age group.

Coached for a South London District team before joining Arsenal’s academy pathway.

He is a high-level pathway architect in youth football. His unique expertise is forged by coaching at the very top—shaping future talents at Arsenal's Pre-Academy—and at the foundational grassroots level with Sporting Club Vista. Through his own venture, Futzone Vision, he is now bringing this elite European academy methodology and professional pathway directly to Hong Kong, aiming to identify, develop, and connect the city's most promising young footballers to the global stage.

Mohamed Sesay (Fulham FC, Academy Scout)

Currently scouts youth talent for Fulham FC’s academy (Sep 2023–Present).

Previously served as an Academy Scout at Crystal Palace FC (Aug 2022–Sep 2023).

Gained early coaching experience as an Assistant Coach at Millwall Community Trust (Feb–Aug 2022).

Holds practical experience in scouting, football coaching, and sports development.

While scouts like Mohamed Sesay are rarely in the public spotlight, they are the essential talent architects of the football world. His experience within the competitive academy systems of Crystal Palace FC and now Fulham FC places him at the industry's critical front line. A scout's eye doesn't just watch players; it projects futures, identifying the raw potential that can be shaped into tomorrow's stars. This foundational work of discovery and evaluation is what fuels the entire professional pathway, determining which young talents receive the opportunity to develop at elite clubs and ultimately shaping the future of the sport itself.
