This programme offers an engaging introduction to digital skills through gaming and programming. Students will learn how to plan, design, and develop their first web-based game using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Along the way, they will acquire essential skills such as storyboard planning, designing gaming assets, and creating digital special effects.

For day camps, the fee includes study materials, providing the necessary resources for each student's daily activities and learning experiences.
Please be aware that transportation to and from the camp, flight tickets, visa fees, and personal travel insurance are not included in the camp fees and should be arranged separately by the participants.

Game Projects
- Carrot Picker: Learn to set up a scoring system and how to customise the characters
- Fruit Matcher: Learn how to create the layout and interaction of the card-matching game by using HTML and JavaScript
- Flying Plane: Learn how to position objects and code the clicking interaction by using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create this game
- Hidden Objects: Learn how to create an “item collection” game, where players find and click on items to score points. Students will learn how to add images, position images, make images clickable, and hide items when clicked
- Create Your Own Adventure Game: The reader plays the role of the main character and makes choices to decide on the actions that will change the ending of the story
- Star Collector: Learn to make a star collector game using Phaser, a JavaScript framework for designing games. Customize the game with your own player, background and items to collect
Programme Highlights
- Game Mechanics & Scoring: Learn to build scoring systems, customise characters, and design interactive mechanics through projects like Carrot Picker and Fruit Matcher.
- Coding with HTML, CSS & JavaScript: Apply core coding skills to position objects, create layouts, and code click-based interactions in games such as Flying Plane and Hidden Objects.
- Interactive Storytelling: Explore narrative design by developing a Create Your Own Adventure Game, where player choices lead to different endings.
- Advanced Game Development: Use the Phaser JavaScript framework to create Star Collector, customising graphics, gameplay, and user experience.
