Programme Highlights

  • Build Strong Financial Foundations: Students are introduced to core financial market concepts, including stocks, portfolios, gains and losses, market trends, and investment strategies. Complex ideas are broken down into clear, ageappropriate explanations that connect directly to realworld examples students can relate to.
  • Immersive 5Day Stock Portfolio Simulation: At the heart of the programme is a dynamic virtual stock portfolio game. Students begin with a fixed virtual capital pool and construct their own equity portfolios. Each day, they receive marketmoving news that affects stock prices, prompting them to analyse trends and make strategic buy, hold, or sell decisions. The simulation brings investing to life while reinforcing the relationship between risk, reward, and timing.
  • Smart Risk Management & Diversification: Students learn why successful investors do not rely on a single stock. Through guided activities, they discover how diversification reduces risk and improves longterm outcomes—an essential principle for any intelligent investor.
  • Stocks vs. Cryptocurrencies: The programme introduces students to cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, comparing them with traditional stocks. Participants explore key differences, including decentralisation, volatility, and regulatory protection, helping them develop a balanced and informed view of emerging financial instruments.
  • Deeper Market Insights: Students gain exposure to broader financial concepts, including equity markets, IPOs, share buybacks, valuation models, bonds, yield curves, credit ratings, and introductory hedging concepts—presented in a clear, engaging, and ageappropriate manner.
  • RealWorld Financial Exposure: A visit to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) provides students with a rare opportunity to connect classroom learning to real financial institutions, deepening their understanding of monetary systems and policy.
