For day camps, the fee includes study materials, providing the necessary resources for each student's daily activities and learning experiences.

Please be aware that transportation to and from the camp, flight tickets, visa fees, and personal travel insurance are not included in the camp fees and should be arranged separately by the participants.

Programme Highlights

  • Hands-On Culinary Practice: Each day features engaging demonstrations and hands-on activities with a mini kitchen setup, allowing students to experience the excitement of cooking while learning the basics of restaurant operations.
  • Restaurant Practice Day: On the final day, students will take over a real restaurant, showcasing their skills by preparing dishes and providing exceptional service for parents, who will attend as special guests.
  • Guidance from a Culinary Master: Learn from Jacques Kagi, a Michelin-trained Swiss chef and expert in culinary arts. Chef Jacques brings his innovative approach and industry expertise to inspire and equip students with practical skills and knowledge.
  • Exciting Curriculum: Explore essential topics such as menu planning, food safety, customer service, and culinary presentation, while gaining a deeper understanding of what it takes to run a successful restaurant.

Meet the Culinary Master - Jacques Kagi

Jacques Kagi, of Swiss descent, was born and raised in Hong Kong, where his passion for the culinary arts began. He pursued formal culinary training in Switzerland and the United Kingdom, honing his skills in Michelin-rated restaurants renowned for their excellence. Driven by a deep connection to Hong Kong, Jacques returned to the city to further his career. Over the years, he has served as Chef de Cuisine and consultant for numerous prestigious five-star establishments, including Peninsula Gaddi's, the Hong Kong Jockey Club Derby Room, and the exclusive restaurants on the 11ᵗʰ and 12ᵗʰ floors of Sogo Club. With a wealth of international expertise and a commitment to culinary innovation, Jacques continues to inspire through his exceptional craft and leadership.
