Students will visit the University of Manchester, learning about application strategies, and followed by the Trafford Centre shopping at the end of the day to shop and enjoy Manchester’s largest shopping centre.

Day 3: Expedition Preparation and Team-Building
Students engage in expedition prep, focusing on team bonding and effective gear management. A commitment to engage fully is symbolised by the handover of devices. Students participate in tent set up practice, sleeping bag checks, compass checks and OS Map introduction. The evening is filled with strategy games and hot chocolate, fueling the anticipation for the expedition.

Day 4: The Adventure Commences in the North Downs
Students set out early to the North Downs, facing the day's challenges with a structured plan and safety measures, including emergency communication protocols, firmly in place. Students travel by coach to the start of the expedition, with a 6 hour expedition in place before they set up camp for the night. Students use their bought food for the evening campfire and dinner.

Day 5: Trek Continuation and Essential Debrief
The second day of the trek sees students pushing toward their goal with another 6 hour expedition, capped with a critical Assessor's debrief, pivotal for their Duke of Edinburgh qualification. The evening provides a chance for relaxation and reflection back at Woldingham School. Games, chill and hot chocolate is on hand to enjoy.

Day 6: Oxford's Hallowed Halls and Scholarly Encounters
Students explore the historic Oxford University, visiting a wide variety of colleges, including enjoying various dining hall experiences, college tours, and gaining insights into the admissions process from current scholars. Students can enjoy a lunch at one of our prestigious colleges, along with dinner at another college; something that very few individuals can experience.

Day 7: Leadership at Harrow and Academic Pathways at UCL
Leadership skills are refined at Harrow on the Hill including a lunch at the world famous Harrow School, followed by an informative session at UCL, where students learn about diverse university programs and career opportunities.

Day 8: Innovation and Discovery at Imperial College and Museums
Morning at Imperial College immerses students in academic excellence, while the afternoon visit to the Natural History and Science Museums stirs the imagination. Both museums have interactive aspects, including the Kobe earthquake and the Red Arrow displays simulation.

Day 9: Iconic London Tour and Fond Farewells
